About Us
The average woman is approximately 5' 4" and weighs 145lbs.The average dress size is 11-14, but, if you turn on the television or check out the front cover of a magazine, you will find the exact opposite. What you are most likely to see is a slim or muscular young lady with barely any or no fat. She will most likely have long beautiful hair; gorgeous eyes and well, you could probably finish the rest of my sentence. You will not only find this on the cover, but throughout the magazine as well as commercials and television shows. Now what's a girl to think after the hundreds of thousands of images are flashed before her on a daily basis? These are the issues woman young and old are facing today.
Young girls and woman are suffering from low self-esteem. This is one of the reasons my heart was drawn to talk and write about these type issues. We want to help educate individuals about low self-esteem and its influences. The Average Woman magazine is counteracting false images that are often depicted in magazines and television. The information on our website is coming from an average woman's point of view. It was designed for the average woman like you and me. The average woman is beautiful!
